How does the business work?

Secretariat Strategie is based on monthly unlimited memberships. Payment for services are only once per month and payments are customized towards the client’s needs.

How does monitoring work?

We provide weekly reports concerning the progress of what is needed and include any recommendations for the upcoming week. Weekly reports are to provide clarity to the client of what is being done, accomplished, if something is at risk, and if there are any recommendations for the betterment of the client.

What are the services provided?

Some examples included in the provision of services is operating as a liaison, dealing with stakeholders, dealing with customer relationship, billing, paperwork, etc. More information is provided in the capabilities page of the website by clicking each one (general administration, project management and public policy) to see the tasks and departments they entail.

Would Secretariat Strategie be an employee committed to daily tasks?

Secretariat Strategie would provide an expert (ex. independent consultant) to deal with daily tasks, as if the client had a “secretary” or an “office manager”. Employees are paid either weekly or biweekly; however, Secretariat Strategie’s memberships are paid monthly to ease the small business by just having to pay once per month without dealing with payroll, taxes, among other things. We do not do hourly rates, we only provide monthly unlimited memberships.

Would Secretariat Strategie be only a consultant assisting in recruiting an employee for the client instead of being the actual entity or employee hired?

Secretariat Strategie will be the actual entity that will provide the service. There is no need for recruitment procedures.

How does having an assigned expert alleviate the client?

Basically, the business leader (client) does not have to deal with employee salary, employment taxes, unemployment benefits, recruitment procedures, etc. Our experts will serve the needs of your business. Secretariat Strategie would take over the administrative portion of the client’s (business leader) overwhelming duties, so they can focus on growth, other departments of the business, spending time with family and taking vacations. Instead of the client having to recruit a W2 employee, our experts would be doing the secretarial work or other assigned tasks.

Does the client have to micro-monitor the expert provided by Secretariat Strategie?

No. Secretariat Strategie deals with daily accountability of experts and reviewing weekly reporting to ensure daily operations and the client’s needs are met.

What would be the working hours of the experts provided?

All experts will have an open window to deal with daily tasks from Monday to Friday. Their work is not based neither on hourly tasks nor hourly rates. Saturdays and Sundays are not working days (only per client’s request). All experts will fulfill all deadlines regardless of time, and will complete all daily operational procedures needed before the end of each day. In addition, they are required to provide the weekly report every Friday to both, Secretariat Strategie and the client for review.

How can Secretariat Strategie take over an entire department?

By either video conference meetings or visiting the client’s business to review how they operate and the systems that are being used. Secretariat Strategie will be learning the specifics of how the business leader (client) deals with his or her duties in order to take over.

What is expected when the client requests for an onsite initial review?

Secretariat Strategie would evaluate the travel costs (and amount of days requested) and request the client for a non-refundable initial deposit to fulfill the initial review. This initial deposit will only be included in the amount of the first month of the membership. The assigned expert will be provided flight, lodging and transportation (if needed). A per diem rate will be provided for meals.

What is expected when the client requests an onsite quarterly review?

A four times a year onsite review will be available upon request and will be included in the membership. The initial review travel costs will be provided by the client. However, the three remaining onsite reviews will only be provided by Secretariat Strategie.

How many video conferences can the client request?

The client can request as many video conferences as needed. There are no limits, as we provide ongoing support.

What are the Covid Protocols in place?

Secretariat Strategie provides all services remotely and all meetings are done through video conferences. If an onsite visit is requested, Secretariat Strategie experts will abide and follow the Covid protocols of our clients and will also obtain a 72 hour Covid Test (Antigen or PCR) before arrival to the assigned site.
